Whether you’re seeking a solo escape, a romantic break without the hefty price tag (or the kids!), or a serene getaway with your closest friends, our hideaways offer the perfect setting to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the quiet. At our home, we cherish the warmth and joy of family, and we’re excited to share a peaceful retreat with our guests. While we are an “adults-only” space, we want to let you know that our five beloved grandchildren may occasionally visit and bring their lively energy with them. Three of our six adult children live abroad with their partners, but when they do visit, it’s always a special time for us. Rest assured, your personal space and garden remain your own private sanctuary, untouched and undisturbed. We’ve designed this space to offer you the tranquility you deserve while still embracing the love and laughter of family life.


Tranquil Garden Space

Bluebell Cottage - Has an enclosed garden space in the orchard  in the orchard, which features a fully enclosed garden space, designed as a safe area for dogs. It's the perfect spot to relax, unwind, and soak in the tranquility and serenity of the surroundings.

The West Wing Rooms - There is a designated area where you can take your dog on a lead for toileting.

 

Dog Friendly

We’re huge dog lovers and want your furry friends to feel just as welcome as you are! Your dogs can stay with us completely free of charge. We happily welcome one to two well-behaved pups per booking (though only one dog is allowed in the West Wing rooms). We can’t wait to meet your four-legged companions and make sure they have a paws-itively wonderful stay!

When using our free wifi, you agree to use it only for legal purposes and they promise not to use it for illegal uploading, downloading or other illegal activities.

Self Catering

Cooking in an unfamiliar kitchen might seem like a challenge, but it’s also a wonderful chance to get creative and explore the flavours of the region. Here, you’ll find all the essentials to whip up relaxed, delicious meals using fresh local produce. Forget the hassle of restaurants or room service—our fully equipped kitchens give you the freedom to cook at your own pace and savour the experience of preparing meals in your countryside retreat.

Whether you’re tossing together a simple supper or experimenting with new recipes, our holiday lets provide the perfect space to enjoy the art of cooking. So, grab some local ingredients, pour yourself a glass of wine, and turn mealtime into a memorable part of your stay.

The cottage has a fridge, oven, hob, coffee maker, microwave, and other kitchen appliances, utensils, and cookware. and  a small dinning area. We will provide bedding and towels.

The 2 rooms in the West Wing has a rustic communal kitchen area share with you and  the guests in one other room, as you enter the building for you to cook if needed. It will have a fridge, oven, hob, coffee maker, microwave, and other kitchen appliances, utensils, and cookware.
